28 Austrians visited Bansko on January 16th, 2020. Among the members of the group is the Mayor of Serfaus (Tyrol, Austria), Mag. Paul Greiter, representatives of municipalities, winter resorts and companies that manufacture and operate moutain railway facilities and rope lifts. The trend visit was organized by Mag. Arnold Oberacher. The group of executives of several resorts around Ischgl, makes such trips every year to different destinations, last year they were in Sweden.

The guests were very satisfied with their visit to Bansko and the ski area under Todorka Peak. They stayed at the Kempinski Grand Arena Bansko and had the opportunity to taste the elite cuisine of restaurants Etno and VIP Room at Banderishka Polyana. Despite the relatively dry winter, they were very pleasantly surprised by the condition of the ski runs in the resort. They were also very impressed by the fact that Bansko is for already 2 years Eco Friendly Resort and the facilities and restaurants in the ski area don't use disposable plastic products. 



Before leaving for Borovets the guests from Austria thanked their hosts for the warm welcome and took pictures in front of the Tomba track, which will host from January 24th to 26th, 2020 the women's races for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup.
