Bansko needs Your support to win for the 13th time in a row the World Ski Awards, which are considered as the Oscars in winter tourism.

The upcoming edition will determine the winners in the categories  “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort", “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Hotel", "Bulgaria's Best Ski Boutique Hotel" and “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Chalet".
Bansko, Borovets, Pamporovo and Vitosha are competing in the most prestigious category "Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort 2025". 

For the award “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Hotel” are competing 7 hotels - Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko, Aparthotel Lucky Bansko SPA&Relax, Grand Hotel Bansko, Hotel Orlovets, Hotel Rila Borovets, Premier Luxury Mountain Resort and Yastrebets Hotel Wellness and SPA .In the category “Bulgaria's Best Ski Boutique Hotel 2025” the rivals are Alpin Hotel, Iva and Elena Hotel, Musala Hotel and Ice Angels Hotel. In the fourth category - Bulgaria's Best Ski Chalet you can vote for Chalet Jora, Chalet Mila, Snomads Chalet Diana-Ross, Villa Gela and Villa Stresov.

More than 200 resorts located on 5 continents participate in the 16-week online competition. According to the rules the winners are determined first at national level, and then at the global level. 
Voting on the website www.worldskiawards.com has been held since 2013 and usually involves over 2 million people, mainly tourists, but also professionals and tour operators. The aim of the Ski Oscars is to raise standards in ski tourism by awarding organisations which are leaders in the industry. This makes the World Ski Awards the largest poll of its kind, and it’s among the largest polls ever held officially.

The poll for the World Ski Awards 2025 started on June 23rd and it will end on October 10th.
