Hell's Kitchen in Bansko

Hell's Kitchen chose to film the second episode of the current season of Nova TV’s hit culinary show at Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort Bansko. "Welcome to Bansko, the mecca of winter sports and a favorite training place for our best snowboarders!" With these words, Chef Viktor Angelov welcomed at Bansko Ski Area the participants in the 5th season of the show, which this time reached record high ratings.
Chef Angelov chose as his guests the rescuers from the Mountain Rescue Service Bansko and the ski and snowboard instructors from Ulen. The menu that the red and blue team prepared for them was traditional for the Pirin region: Katino meze with chicken fillet and mushrooms, Kachamak with Banski Sujuk and Kukurina with blueberry jam and powdered sugar.
To motivate the contenders for the grand prize of BGN 100,000, Viktor Angelov invited the Bulgarian snowboarder Rado Yankov, Big Crystal Globe winner, who was training at Bansko during the filming of the episode. He told that between the training camps he changes his newborn daughter's diapers, but continues to compete with the same strong motivation after becoming a father.

Snowboarder Rado Yankov, winner of the Big Crystal Globe "The biggest meaning in life - my newborn daughter motivates me even more!" Chef Angelov to the participants in Hell's Kitchen: "I want you to be as tough as he is!"

Before heading down the steep culinary course of Bansko’s region, the red and blue teams went down by tubes slope Nr. 1 Kolarski to gain a valuable lead in the TV cooking competition. The advantage for the winning red team was to cook for fewer guests, which proved to be crucial, and they won the challenge of the episode.

Before the Hell's Kitchen team left for their next destination, Chef Angelov signed autographs and took souvenir pics with the beautiful instructors from Ulen.
